Pork belly “torresmos da Beira”

Pork is very delicious. With a handful of ingredients you can create a variety of tasty recipes. Pork belly is perfect when it comes to Portuguese cuisine. So, if you are up to it, here’s a simple, yet delicious, recipe: Torresmos da Beira.


2 lbs of pork belly (marinated in red wine and garlic)
Salt (to taste)


Cut the pork belly into small cubes and season with salt.
Place in a pan to start frying.
Remove when all the fat is melted and the belly turns into a crispy brown.
