Cooking giblets, hearts and liver!

Imagine having the on the menu! Well, please don’t turn your head and make “a face”.  They’re actually quite delicious.


1 pound chicken giblets
1 pound chicken liver
250 grams chicken heart
2 tablespoons cumin powder
2 tablespoons ground black pepper
1 tablespoon turmeric powder
1 large onion, sliced
2-3 green chili, sliced
2 tablespoons garlic paste
2 tablespoons ginger paste
1 tablespoon thyme leaves
4-6 curry leaves
2 tablespoons chopped coriander leaves
2 tablespoons oil


Clean and cut the chicken giblets, heart and liver separately into small pieces.
Heat oil in a large pan, add the giblets and heart and cook on medium heat.
Check at various intervals and add some water when required.
Once the chicken giblet and heart is 3/4 done add the chicken liver, thyme and curry leaves, cumin powder, ground black pepper and turmeric powder.
Cover and cook until the giblet, heart and liver is cooked (add more water if needed).
Add the sliced onion and green chili.
Turn off the heat and garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
