Chouriço Micaelense is typically made with pork and seasoned with a blend of spices, including paprika, garlic, and salt.
Springtime Recipe: Grilled Chouriço Micaelense with Spring Vegetables
As the weather warms up, there’s no better way to enjoy Chouriço Micaelense than grilled alongside fresh spring vegetables.
Ingredients:
- 1 lb Chouriço Micaelense
- 1 large bell pepper, sliced
- 1 large zucchini, sliced
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Grill the Chouriço Micaelense for about 5 minutes per side, until nicely charred.
- Meanwhile, brush the bell pepper, zucchini, and onion slices with olive oil and season with salt, pepper, and minced garlic.
- Grill the vegetables for about 3-4 minutes per side, until tender and slightly charred.
- Serve the grilled Chouriço Micaelense with the spring vegetables and garnish with chopped parsley.
